Army Day with Honorary Commanders

It was both exciting and humbling to participate in Army Day as part of Honorary Commanders at Fort Benning GA. I was not expecting to jump off of a 40 foot platform, nor get to sit inside the turret of an actual M1A1 Abrams Tank! We learned so much about the Men and Women serving in the greatest Army in the world. 

Unfortunately, one of the things we learned was the high rate of loss of vets to suicide in GA. Our State has one of the highest concentrations of veterans in the country. Too many are taking their own lives. If you are someone who has served, or you know someone who has served who is suffering please get help.
