Thoughts on Therapy: Mentalization

Today we are talking with Griffin Smith about Mentalization Based Treatment or MBT. 

Griffin Smith is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) that specializes in the treatment of interpersonal distress and dysfunction for adults, adolescents, couples, and families, commonly treating individuals with a history of personality disorder, complex trauma, childhood and adolescent behavioral disorders, as well as mood and anxiety disorders. Griffin earned certification in psychoanalytic theory from the Emory University Psychoanalytic Institute, and receives ongoing training and supervision in (MBT) through the Gunderson Personality Disorders Institute at McLean Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School and the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. 

Griffin founded Totus Intuor Counseling & Consulting with the aim of empowering people and maximizing wellness through relational work. As a clinical practice and organizational consultancy, Totus Intuor supports both individuals and organizations within the public and private sectors in clinical and non clinical capacities, offering the services of psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and organizational consultation and coaching.
